My best friend and me went Dinner was at a Japenese BBQ restaurant in Chijmes called Gyu Kaku.
The walkway
We started off with the Horenso Salad ($8), comprising baby spinach with sprinkles of crispy garlic and bacon bits, topped with sliced white button mushrooms, dressed in a creamy tangy sesame sauce. This is so yummy delicious we actually order 2nd serving.. hee hee...
I weren’t sure what to order, so i leave it to my chef to do the ordering...
This is what she ordered, this cost $88++ for few pieces of beef ! Is damn ex lor but definitely worth it coz the meat is sooooo juiccccyyy and yummy...
She's my chef .. hahahaha
Gyu-Kaku which means "Bull's Horn" is Japan's best-loved Yakiniku restaurant.
Gyu-Kaku provide a casual atmosphere where diners can enjoy good company and fine food around the warmth of a charcoal fire.
"Yaki"(Grilling) and "Niku"(Meats) over a wood charcoal fire is the ultimate way to bring out the true flavour of meat and Gyu-kaku's marinades enhance this natural goodness for a sensational taste you Won't forget. Cooking perfectly to your liking.
The place is cosy and service was attentive, personable, friendly and prompt. We had our own little “cubicle” with the charcoal grill in front of us. It’s pretty much DIY which was fine to me coz i have a BBQ chef with me.. haha..
It’s a great place to visit with close friends, taking your time to bbq, chit chat, and chill over sakae/beer (too bad we don't drink) we only drink plain water keke.. A perfect way to dine don’t you think?
I DEFINITELY will be going back and I recommend all to check it out.
