Snow at Tanglin 2010

Yearly December "Snow" at Tanglin Mall

Looks like real snow...

Cheryl scare of the "snow" and want daddy to carry

She started to warm up and dare to step on the "snow" haha

the 2 kor kor is enjoying themselves

snowman

Kids just love to play even though that was 'fake' snow. I think all kids are curious about snow (including myself) but soap suds are the best they can do in a and kids didn't seem to mind that it wasn't the real thing.

When it started spraying into the air, and from a distance it did look like real snow. Is a kind of soapy bubbles that machines (brought in by the mall) blow into the air high overhead.

It flutter down like snow, onto our hair, clothes and it cover the floor with soapy foam and it looks like real snow... the kids enjoying..

Best of all there is a washing area for us to wash up after the fun.

If you do bring your kids along, make sure you bring along a towel and a set of clothes to change after the snow play.

Chewy Junior (Raffles City)

This is not your usual donuts or cream puffs. It is a fusion between Cream Papa and Donut Factory! The texture of the puffs is chewy and soft, rather unique

Sinful - The whole thing is filled with cream! and cream is nothing but fatttsss and sugar!!! The one I bought is Oreo Chocolate,Chocolate Madness, Double Chocolate Crunch...

Good - Its crispy and pretty crusty on the outside, yet so soft and chewy inside.

One is enough - Its good but not fantastic to the stage that i die die must eat. It has loads of sugar which i would rather waste something else more worthy.

Fruit Paradise Cafe (Fruit Tart Shop)

I ordered Strawberry chocolate mousse and my best friend ordered grapefruit

Interesting dessert cafe with a new concept. Fruit Paradise. The crust of the tarts itself is thin and crisp, giving each slice a firm standing. And the topping are beautifully glazed in luscious portions. Definitely a good place to visit and relax.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Restaurant, Chijmes

My best friend and me went Dinner was at a Japenese BBQ restaurant in Chijmes called Gyu Kaku.

The walkway

We started off with the Horenso Salad ($8), comprising baby spinach with sprinkles of crispy garlic and bacon bits, topped with sliced white button mushrooms, dressed in a creamy tangy sesame sauce. This is so yummy delicious we actually order 2nd serving.. hee hee...

I weren’t sure what to order, so i leave it to my chef to do the ordering...

This is what she ordered, this cost $88++ for few pieces of beef ! Is damn ex lor but definitely worth it coz the meat is sooooo juiccccyyy and yummy...

She's my chef .. hahahaha

Gyu-Kaku which means "Bull's Horn" is Japan's best-loved Yakiniku restaurant.
Gyu-Kaku provide a casual atmosphere where diners can enjoy good company and fine food around the warmth of a charcoal fire.

"Yaki"(Grilling) and "Niku"(Meats) over a wood charcoal fire is the ultimate way to bring out the true flavour of meat and Gyu-kaku's marinades enhance this natural goodness for a sensational taste you Won't forget. Cooking perfectly to your liking.

The place is cosy and service was attentive, personable, friendly and prompt. We had our own little “cubicle” with the charcoal grill in front of us. It’s pretty much DIY which was fine to me coz i have a BBQ chef with me.. haha..

It’s a great place to visit with close friends, taking your time to bbq, chit chat, and chill over sakae/beer (too bad we don't drink) we only drink plain water keke.. A perfect way to dine don’t you think?

I DEFINITELY will be going back and I recommend all to check it out.
