Life takes many turn
Some for the best
Others for the worst
Although we all start the same
Were born to represent what are parents taught us
How to love
How to live
How to shape our own futures
Were given our own tools to survive
Sometimes transparent till we need them
Like -wrapping a present
Hidden away in the upstairs closet waiting to be opened
Some wish on shooting stars
Blowing out birthday candles
Find a four-leaf clover
Or just plain crossing our fingers in hope
Yet nothing will prepare us for our own journey
Our own walk of truth
To step outside into the unknown of life
Replacing our fears with faith and trust
